Prof. CHEUNG, Yiu-ming (張曉明), IEEE Fellow, IET Fellow, 

BCS Fellow, RSA Fellow, IETI Distinguished Fellow

Hong Kong Baptist University, Hong Kong

Biography: Prof. Cheung received the PhD degree from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Currently, he is a Chair Professor (Artificial Intelligence) of Department of Computer Science, Associate Dean of Graduate School, and Dean of Institute for Research and Continuing Education (IRACE) in Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU). He is serving as an Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics, IEEE Transactions on Emerging Topics in Computational Intelligence, IEEE Transactions on Cognitive and Developmental Systems, Pattern Recognition, and Neurocomputing, to name a few. Prof. Cheung is an IEEE Fellow, AAAS Fellow, IET/IEE Fellow, and BCS Fellow. He was elected as a Distinguished Lecturer of IEEE Computational Intelligence Society in 2020, and the Changjiang Scholar (Chair Professor) awarded by Ministry of Education of China. Also, he is the Editor-in-Chief-Elect of IEEE Transactions on Emerging Topics in Computatitional Intelligence.

Prof. Kay Chen Tan, IEEE FELLOW;

Editor-in-Chief of IEEE Transactions on Evolutionary Computation

City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong

Biography: Kay Chen Tan is currently a Chair Professor (Computational Intelligence) of the Department of Computing, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He has co-authored 7 books and published over 200 peer-reviewed journal articles. Prof. Tan holds one U.S. patent on surface defect detection, and another one is pending approval.

Prof. Tan is currently the Vice-President (Publications) of IEEE Computational Intelligence Society, USA. He has served as the Editor-in-Chief of IEEE Transactions on Evolutionary Computation from 2015-2020 (IF: 11.169) and IEEE Computational Intelligence Magazine from 2010-2013 (IF: 9.083). Prof. Tan currently serves as an Associate Editor of various international journals, such as IEEE Transactions on Artificial Intelligence, IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics, and IEEE Transactions on Games.

Prof. Tan has been invited as a Plenary/Keynote speaker for over 80 international conferences, including the 2020 IEEE World Congress on Computational Intelligence, the 2016 IEEE Symposium Series on Computational Intelligence, etc. He has served as an organizing committee Chair/Co-Chair for over 50 international conferences, including the General Co-Chair of 2019 IEEE Congress on Evolutionary Computation, and the General Co-Chair of 2016 IEEE World Congress on Computational Intelligence, etc.

Prof. Tan has received a number of research awards, such as the 2020 IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics Outstanding Paper Awards, the 2019 IEEE Computational Intelligence Magazine Outstanding Paper Awards, the 2016 IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems Outstanding Paper Awards, the 2012 Outstanding Early Career Award presented by the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society, and the 2008 Recognition Award given by the International Network for Engineering Education & Research.

Prof. Tan is an IEEE Fellow, an IEEE Distinguished Lecturer Program (DLP) speaker since 2012, and an Honorary Professor at University of Nottingham in UK since 2020. Prof. Tan is also the Chief Co-Editor of Springer Book Series on Machine Learning: Foundations, Methodologies, and Applications launched in 2020.

Prof. Serge Fdida

ACM Distinguished Member, IEEE Senior Member

Sorbonne University, France

Biography: Serge Fdida is a Professor with Sorbonne Université (formally with UPMC) since 1995. His research interests are related to the future internet technology and architecture. He has been leading many research projects in Future Networking in France and Europe, notably pioneering the European activity on federated Internet testbeds. He is currently leading the Equipex FIT, a large-scale testbed on the Future Internet of Things. Serge Fdida has published numerous scientific papers, in addition to several patents and one rfc. He is a Distinguished ACM Member and an IEEE Senior member. He was one of the founders of the ACM Conext conference, general chair of ACM Mobicom 2015 and IEEE Infocom 2019. Serge Fdida has also developed a strong experience related to innovation and industry transfer, - he was the co-founder of the Qosmos company, - one of the active contributors to the creation of the Cap Digital cluster in Paris, and currently the President of the EIT Health French community. He held various community and management responsibilities in various organizations including Sorbonne Université and CNRS. Serge Fdida is Vice President for International Development of Sorbonne University.
